Jakarta, 25 July 2023 – Polytama’s commitment to the environment and society has once again garnered recognition, this time at the CSR Outlook 2023 event organized by Olahkarsa and the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD).
During the award ceremony, Polytama was selected as the recipient of the Silver Medal in the “Best Practice in Education” category. This accolade is a form of appreciation presented to companies deemed successful in creating innovations for education in Indonesia through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Represented by Dwinanto Kurniawan, the Strategy & Planning Director, Polytama accepted the award after successfully undergoing the assessment and selection process. Other companies that received this award include PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan and PT Telkom Indonesia.
Through this achievement, Polytama reaffirms its dedication to maintaining its commitment to the environment. This commitment is reflected in Polytama’s community development program, specifically the Green, Healthy, and Clean School (SEHATI) initiative, which has been in operation since 2019. The program aims to create school areas that are green, healthy, and clean through capacity-building efforts and raising awareness about the importance of early waste management.
