After starting a series of innovative integrated K3 programs to kick off National K3 Month 2024 in January,Polytama concluded the commemoration period with a series of closing activities focused on the theme of safety. These activities purpose to increase awareness among workers about the importance of maintaining the application of K3 values
The first activity in the closing series of National K3 Month 2024 was a webinar themed ‘Mental Health Awareness,’ based on Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 05 of 2018 concerning Work Environment K3. All the activities we engage in daily are interconnected, and achieving predetermined targets can often lead to stress, which needs to be managed properly to support our occupational health. Polytama also hosted a webinar on the ‘Contractor Safety Management System,’ recognizing that close collaboration with contractors and suppliers is inevitable in the context of operations and facility development. The activities they undertake carry inherent risks for both the contractor’s personnel and Polytama’s operations and reputation. Therefore, it is important for us to manage these risks effectively.
As a way of refreshing, Polytama also invited workers to take part in the K3 Month trivia quiz.The quiz covered topics related to the Company Profile, 5R, Life Saving Rules, Plantsite, Product and Technology, K3 Basics, K3L Management System.
Furthermore, Polytama also organized a K3 Month Closing Ceremony, which was attended by representatives from PT KPI HSSE and officials from UPTD Wil III Cirebon, along with healthy gymnastics activities. The series of activities ended with the announcement of the winners of the K3 Competition, which included:
