Indramayu, November 12, 2024 – PT Polytama Propindo (Polytama) has once again achieved remarkable recognition in the field of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), receiving the prestigious Zero Accident Award (ZAA) from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. This award highlights Polytama’s success in creating a safe and productive working environment while reinforcing the strong OHS culture embedded in the organization.
The award ceremony was held at Polytama’s Plant Site in Indramayu and attended by Drs. H. Rahmat Ripilita, M.A.P., Head of the Regional Labor Supervision Unit (UPTD Wasnaker) for Region III Cirebon, along with Mukhtaruddin, S.Pt, Sub-Coordinator of OHS Supervision. Representing Polytama were the company’s Director of Operations, Mr. Syawaludin Azwar; General Manager of Operations, Mr. Bunyamin; Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager, Mr. Afnaldi; and other Polytama team members.

Polytama achieved an impressive 24,272,325 safe working hours without any work accidents, reflecting the effectiveness of the company’s OHS initiatives. Among its flagship programs are the Polytama Integrated Process Safety Management in Safe Operation (iPromise) and Polytama Life Saving Rules, which serve as key pillars for maintaining workplace safety.
These programs not only minimize potential production and reputational losses but also boost employee morale. By fostering a strong OHS culture, Polytama ensures the sustainability of its operations to meet the growing demand for polypropylene in the market.
