PT Polytama Propindo (Polytama) with the Indramayu Red Cross (PMI) of Indramayu Regency collaborated for a blood donation activity which took place at the Plant Site Polytama canteen. The enthusiasm for this activity can be seen from the number of Polytama people who participated reaching more than 90 people.
Beyond Polytama’s social concern for people who need blood donations, this activity is also Polytama’s commitment to the security, safety and health aspects of workers. Blood donation is also known to have various health benefits for donors such as reducing stress levels, improving emotional health, reducing the risk of heart and blood vessel disease, reducing the risk of cancer, increasing red blood cell production, helping to lose weight and detecting serious diseases.
This is the first time Polytama has organized a blood donation activity since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. In the future, Polytama will re-routine this activity every three months.
With the implementation of this blood donor program, it is hoped that it can build awareness of the importance of sharing with others and also as a form of the Company’s concern for the health of its workers, because behind superior workers, there are healthy workers.
