Indramayu, March 4, 2026 – Smiles of joy were evident on the faces of children attending the event at Majakerta Village Hall, Indramayu Regency. One of them was Akhmad, who enthusiastically participated in PT Polytama Propindo’s Ramadan Safari, which included charitable donations and an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering. For Akhmad and his friends, the occasion was a joyful experience as they could come together, enjoy the iftar meal, and receive assistance.
The Ramadan Safari organized by Polytama fostered a warm sense of togetherness among orphans, the community, and company representatives. The children’s happiness reflected how the initiative not only provided material support but also brought meaningful joy to its beneficiaries.
Through this program, Polytama once again distributed assistance to orphans as part of its Ramadan Safari series conducted across several villages in Juntinyuat District. In total, 240 orphans from Lombang, Limbangan, Tinumpuk, and Majakerta villages received support.
The first event was held at Baitur Rahman Mosque in Lombang Village on Tuesday (February 24, 2026), followed by similar activities carried out in rotation across other villages in the company’s surrounding operational areas. The distribution of assistance reflects the company’s commitment to sharing with the community during the holy month of Ramadan.
The symbolic handover of donations was conducted by Polytama’s General Manager, Febrian Samto, alongside representatives of the local leadership forum (Forkopimcam), the Juntinyuat and Balongan Police Chiefs, the Juntinyuat and Indramayu Military Command representatives, and village heads from Lombang, Limbangan, Tinumpuk, and Majakerta.
The presence of various stakeholders in this activity highlights strong synergy and collaboration between the company, local government, community leaders, and residents. This togetherness reflects a shared commitment to maintaining harmonious relationships between the business sector and the community.
For Polytama, the Ramadan Safari is more than just a charitable initiative. It also serves as a moment of connection (silaturahmi), strengthening relationships between the company and communities around its operational areas in Indramayu Regency.
Director of PT Polytama Propindo, Dwinanto Kurniawan, stated that this donation program is routinely carried out every Ramadan as part of the company’s commitment to consistently contribute and create value for surrounding communities.
“Polytama is present as part of the Indramayu community through various initiatives that deliver positive impacts, particularly for those living around the company’s operations,” said Dwinanto.
For the children receiving assistance, the iftar gathering also became a joyful experience. In addition to receiving support, they had the opportunity to gather and share meaningful moments with their peers and the surrounding community.
Akhmad, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his happiness in joining the event. He shared that the iftar atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, especially with the variety of food provided.
“It’s fun breaking the fast with Polytama—so lively, lots of delicious food, and I’m happy to receive the support,” he said.
Appreciation was also conveyed by the Head of Majakerta Village, Rendra, who noted that Polytama’s Ramadan Safari is one of the most anticipated annual events by the community.
“This Polytama initiative is one of the programs we look forward to most during Ramadan. We are very enthusiastic and pleased, as it also emphasizes strong religious values. This year feels even better than before due to the direct involvement of Polytama’s management. We truly feel Polytama’s sincerity in maintaining strong ties with the community during Ramadan,” said Rendra.
