Indramayu, March 12, 2025 – In the spirit of spreading kindness during the blessed month of Ramadan 1446 Hijriah, PT Polytama Propindo (Polytama) once again held its annual charitable initiative, “Polytama, Ramadan Berbagi Bersama Anak Negeri.” This year’s program is held every Wednesday throughout Ramadan in four villages surrounding the company’s operations: Limbangan, Lombang, Tinumpuk, and Majakerta.
This initiative reflects Polytama’s ongoing commitment to supporting the welfare of communities around its operational areas, particularly orphans and underprivileged families. The joy and gratitude of the children who received the aid were evident.
As part of its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) initiatives, Polytama distributed aid to orphans and provided basic food packages containing essential items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other necessities.
During the first week of Ramadan, donations were distributed in Limbangan Village on March 5, followed by Lombang Village on March 13, Tinumpuk Village on March 19, and Majakerta Village on March 26. The aid was delivered directly by members of Polytama’s management, including Bunyamin, General Manager of Operations, and Amin Hidayat, General Manager of Engineering & Development, accompanied by local officials and key stakeholders in Indramayu.
First initiated in 2018, this annual program took on a new dimension this year with the addition of iftar (breaking of the fast) with the orphans, attended by company management and local government officials.
Distinguished guests included Juntinyuat Subdistrict Head Mr. Rusyad Nurdin, S.T., M.Si., Military Commander of Juntinyuat 1609, Captain Inf. Waryadi, and Chief of Juntinyuat Police Sector, First Inspector Trio Tirtana H, S.H.
In a separate statement, Dwinanto Kurniawan, Commercial & Support Director of Polytama, shared that Ramadan is an important opportunity to strengthen relationships among stakeholders in Indramayu.
“We hope this synergy continues to grow, allowing Polytama to bring ongoing benefits to the people of Indramayu. Furthermore, we hope that the development of Polytama’s new plant proceeds smoothly across all phases and is completed on schedule,” he stated.
